IMHO, rap is not music, it is doggerel spoken to a recorded beat.
Opera, art music and art singing are of course real music and it takes
serious talent to perform same. But it leaves me seriously cold.
I'm also quite averse to certain forms of so-called rock music - the
dreck dished up by Guns 'N Roses being a great example thereof. These
people make B. Spears look like Sarah Vaughn by comparison.
There are also certain forms of jazz which I cannot abide - so called
free jazz. I presume it's called that because of its being content free.
