These are great recordings of course - I have about 90 of the original CD reissues, and in most cases where there was an SACD version, I replaced the CD with the SACD. There are some I still don't have, but I'll probably resist the temptation to replace what I have just to get the omissions.
However, the new box set (with its attractive pricing) is a great opportunity for newbies to become acquainted with these recordings, which, in some respects, still put many modern recordings to shame!
