I picked up this 14 CD box set due to the fact I prefer (by a large measure) Orchestral recordings made at live concert settings. These various concert recording were taken from the period between 1990-2000. I've only had the opportunity to listen to 5 or 6 of these . They have all been outstanding sounding so far. One of the recordings that has particularly stood out for me has been one of Klaus Tennstedt conducting a performance of the Mahler 5th. Has anyone had the occasion to listen to any of the Anthology sets & what have you thought of the sound quality ? Thanks,Steve (One thing I am a bit curious about is whether these recordings were sourced from analog masters. I've scoured the box & reording booklet for spars information. The information does'nt appear to have been included. If the other sets are as well recorded I'm going to be one broke music lover!)
