to be underestimated, as I was reminded recently at the "Concert for Civility" held here recently in Tucson Az. It was organized by one of the survivors of the Giffords shooting. Most of the performers are now entitled to sr. discounts, including Jackson Browne, Crosby and Nash, Jennifer Warnes, Keb Mo, Nils Lofgren, Sam Moore, Alice Cooper et. al. What the performers conveyed and what the crowd received is hard to put in words, but loss, healing, hope and community are a few that come to mind.. Suffice it to say that it was hard to maintain a dry-eyed, tough exterior throughout most of the event. I went away feeling priveleged to have been able to participate.
