Two who haven't been mentioned so far are Marilyn Crispell and Myra Melford. At the risk of numerous flames, I will also add that I consider Patricia Barber quite a good pianist. She hasn't recorded any instrumental only tracks for a few discs now, apart from a couple on her French tour live disc, but there are quite a few on her early discs. I would love to see here issue a disc of instrumentals, perhaps of duets with Michael Arnopol since she seems to regurlarly do duo instrumental dates with him.
