Check out Marian's Live At the Hickory House stuff from the 50s on Capitol. Beautiful harmonic concept. Brackeen has recorded a load of duo and solo records, and in fact made the first album in Concord's Live At Maybeck Recital Hall series, which features a whole bunch of pianists in solo settings. That whole series is probably worth browsing for you.I have 3 or 4 of Ahmad's trio things on Argo from the 50s and 60s. Can't think of anyone else who plays like that.\
