Home Music Lane

It's all about the music, dude! Sit down, relax and listen to some tunes.

Good morning!

The turn you take is a little short, beware to not loose grip on the wheel:-)

Best edta,

When some music is a tough one for you this doesn't mean it's decadent and furthermore I never said I idolize these guys, nor do I only listen to these two guys and about Nietzsche we can write a lot of papers and essays ultimately finding out it's very interesting what the man wrote but totally not usable for every day life, mere funny ergo decadent and perhaps you'd better spin a nice Mahler symphony which he would have liked after 'Der Fall Wagner':-)

I can imagine people have difficulties with Bruckner since those symphonies are like huge organs in a German cathedral and every single key of that organ is being played and yes, sometimes the music is a little static, but decadent isn't what I'd lable Bruckner to be. For instance, I think serialism is far more decadent, drifting away from what people grosso modo like and creating a niche. For highly late romantic music you shouldn't be afraid about your own emotions and that's what you apparently are, giving those who like this decadent music decadent brain cells. I think you are misquoting Nietzsche, so let's discuss music instead of philosophy, or shall we all listen to 'Carmen' like Nietzsche proposed?

A little Beethoven is also what I prefer, better said: a lot of Beethoven is even to be preferred since he was the greatest composer ever and not Mozart if it's up to my decadent braincells, although I would call them neurons.

Rob, apparently decadent, but respecting your taste in music.
