Today I've also been testing some assumptions and although I don't like Donald Fagen's 'Nightfly', the vinyl version rules over the CD which is also nicely remastered. No comparison, discussion closed, same with Prodigy's 'Fat of the Land', Lamb's 'Fear of fours', Bush's 'Sixteen Stone', Pearl Jam's 'Vitology', CO/Haitink's Mahler 2 and Walter's 'Das Lied von der Erde' with Patzak and Ferrier; just no ban under and aboce specific frequencies, leaving the original atmosphere and acoustics intact, making the voices round, warm and understandable.
