This recording of Furtwangler/BPO/LvB9th received rave reviews and high praise for its passionate performance, if not its sonics, on the Classical Insites message boards. As I recall, the best sounding of several reissues was said to be a Tahra label CD, but so far I've not found a copy.Is anyone here familiar with this 1942 live concert recording? LP or CD format? Which label, catalog number? Would it be worthwhile to track down a copy? Any comments will be appreciated.
Thanks.
