save me for the elitist folk at the general section..well not all of them are but you get the odd one or two..its kinda sad really because music ought to be enjoyed by everyone..and it doesnt matter what youre listening through..if it makes you happy..so be it. i have in the 20 odd years or so that ive been tinkering with equipment and in the 40 years or so that ive been in love with music (was born doing the boogy my mom tells me), met people who were transported to quite another place by music that they obviously loved through equipment that would never ever meet the high standards of folk who strut around with the word 'audiophile' smack across the forehead....of course its nice to listen to music through decent kit..but one's idea or my idea of neutrality may be another's pain in the ear..with no booming bass and extended (read bright) hf....ok..im rambling now....cheers
