To tell the truth: I knew the Mahler 2 almost by heart from Kaplan's CD which I bought several month ago after reading this forum. (And I have the 1 - Haiting-, the 3 - Salonen, and the 5th (on DVD- FSO Ojei) the 9- Klempner + the 4-Salonen and 6th-Inbal- on order).
But for my wife - who studied music at the Uni, and since then didnt like to remember much of what she h a d to learn - it was different. Since the concert she is more willing my "loud" music:)
