Today's hip tunes. New music that isn't Classic Rock or Jazz!

On some tracks, there's a staticky distortion in the upper mids. When my brother first played the album, he thought something was wrong with his Discman or headphones. When I first played it, I thought my vacuum tubes were going out. But it turns out that the equipment is fine, and the distortion is on the CD or recording.
Let me know if this distortion is also on your copy. If not, then I can exchange my CD for another one.
