From Perotin to Prokofiev (and beyond), performed by Caruso to Khatia, it's all here.

Aw, cumon, Dad?! It could be worse - I could be praising Solti. Unfortunately, I just couldn't keep that up with a straight face.

Remember Martin Bookspan? I always knew that a recommendation from him meant something I didn't want. You've taught me a lot about the great old conductors. Just because I don't like your favorite style, doesn't mean I haven't learned anything. I've learned that Celi is like Furtie and to be avoided. Mengel and Kleiber are maybees and I'll check 'em out. Gergiev, well, time will tell. Too bad Bin says Toscy is very recording dependent; I was going to give him a shot. Mravinsky's Tchai is tempting.

Good grief - I bought the whole damn Furtie Ring! Could I be ALL bad? Just don't expect me to be easy on you . . .

PS I'll get into your country because I have authentic Schnitger-Disciple papers.
