In Reply to: Funny, was watching the "Great Conductors" video today... posted by Binayak Bhattacharyya on May 1, 2000 at 18:05:01:
.......it gets a bit more focused on only six of the greats. The viewer gets to see each of them conduct at length. The one for me that stands out is Celibidache.......they show him conducting in 1947.....then in the early 60's.......and finally in 1990. The others included are mengelberg, Furtwangler, Erich Kleiber, Mravinsky, and Munch. It's entitled "Legendary Conductors of the Golden Era".Regard's, Tom B.
