Yes, Maureen's voice is beautiful, but her German is a shame, the same problem I have with Jessye Norman, but still I'm glad you found a nice 'Lieder eines fahrenden Gesellen', because imo Mahler was even greater as a 'Lieder'-composer than as a symphonist and when Furtie recorded this cycle with Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau he said DFD finally got him interested for Mahler.Rob
