I just strayed into the Power Forum and got caught up in the Richard Gray thread, finally reading the Stereotimes review which ended leaving me convinced that I need in fact two of them before I can ever be happy with my otherwise crud infested system again...the resolution and dimensionality that I must be otherwise lacking! Wow! - the gearhead forums can be dangerous!
Do you know how much easier it is explaining a 6" stack of used vinyl Brahms violin sonatas and Chopin piano works to my wife as compared to 44 lbs of black box for $1400? And how much more illuminating in the long run? $1400 is one hell of a lot of music!
I made it back here just in time to read the responses to "Newbie's request and add to my "to buy" list. Am I ever going to go on a buying spree when I get back to the states......
