Berezovsky has made excellent recordings of the Liszt Transcendental Etudes and the Balakeriev piece "Islamey". Very virtuosic AND poetic. Maybe he had a bad night. You know, Stephen Kovacevich is Martha Argerich's current husband -- no kidding. So...if she wasn't there, it was HIS FAULT...um, I mean he probably knows why.
