Home Classical Court

From Perotin to Prokofiev (and beyond), performed by Caruso to Khatia, it's all here.

Stravinsky wasn't universally appreciated in his day either

But I still like Christina better.

Observations from Hawaii
- Britney has a cool interpretive dance style though - dod ya notice how all the other dancers were doing the exact same boring thing and only she was brave enough to add her own temporal variations?

- Before the concert I read here in this same forum a quote in which she said she wasn't going to lip synch. I believe her. I think someone else was singing her part. The lead female vocal sounded "different", in a better sort of way. I mean, Britney was really singing and everything, but her mike was turned low.

Listening to Mahler's 8th right now (Concertbouw/Haitnik). Wish I would have discovered it back when I smoked pot - I would have liked it then too. Downright deep and mysterious stuff.
