I have the Cav/Pag with Milanov, Bjoerling, Warren, Merrill, and also Trovatore with Milanov, Bjoerling, and Warren, and they are certainly outstanding. Strangely enough, I also have the old Verdi Requiem with Caniglia, Stignani, Gigli, and Pinza, and pretty much agree. I'm a great Gigli fan, even though he was a tenor. I ahven't played any of them for quite a while.Never heard the Strauss.
