Damm, we're preparing ourselves for Euro 2000 and it's difficult enough to have nationalistic feelings, but I just watched Michael Boogert interviewing Pierre van Hooijdonck, the English bookmakers rated us 7-2 for the victory and damm, everyday I'm getting more and more proud about what my fellow Dutchmen are doing at the moment. We need this victory in the European Championships, it will be a relieve, still suffering from what Germany did to us in 1974, not to mention the Argentines in 1978 or the Brazilians in this decade, all of them winning with less quality football. I need this victory, I really do and I'm nationalistic, I'm sorry.Sunday is our kickoff. Perhaps I should refrain from posting those weeks, it's not pretty being me when those things are going on.
