Hi,
The only EvB I have is an interesting one. The sound was enhanced by Dutton and is acceptable. Perhaps it's more revealing than Bruckner, because there's a certain variety of works. The CD includes
- a Beethoven overture with a British orchestra (LPO) from 29/11/1946 (Decca),
- Schubert's 5th symphony from 17/09/1946 (Decca) and
- Berlioz's Symphonie Fantastique from 9/09/1946 (Decca), both with the Concertgebouw,
and was remastered from the original 78 rpm discs.
It was rather cheap, at least here in the EU.
It's from Dutton, CDK 1208 (6538712082).
Regards,
Jorge
