Ahhh, that's an argument:-)Actually, it's said the Concertgebouw improved in playing the correct notes better since Chailly, but I just miss the typical CO sound and of course Chailly is life much better than studio recorded, which is also apparent in the Rach 3 with RSO Berlin and Argerich.
I remember people from the Furtie mailing list were quite positive about a Mahler 1 he did with the London SO and the poster wasn't a Brit:-)
Haitink killed the orchestra, although I like his Mahler better than what Horenstein in all his intensity recorded.
