I've been wondering what to say, but I just say I loved that purchase of yours. Don't listen to those who recommend others than Mravinsky, because this is the ultimate recording of the work. I've got a lot of recordings of the 5th, but only this one can give me satisfaction and I'd advise you to listen to it a lot before you and your wifey go see and hear it live. You'll love the percussion and celesta, not to mention the piano in the first movement or the brass in the finale.Hope there's some Russian bowing in the string section of that orchestra. Now, back to wanking on Anna Kournikova.
Nazhdrovnaja,
Rob
