The Kempff Beethoven set is one of the 2 or 3 best ever recorded. The Uchida Schubert recordings are among the best Schubert to come down the pike in a long time--absolutely first rate, wonderful, awsome etc. The Karajan Beethoven 9th is an extremely fine recording and one of the best available.
