Do you listen more to male or female singers?

I tend to listen more to the divas across genres. Jazz, opera, and pop it's pretty much all female. For rock and metal, the guys come back in. But then that may be because there are far fewer female rock and metal singers.

I sorted of noticed this with a post down the page where Sarah McLachlan sang a duet with Josh Groban (covered by Wings of Pegases) and I kept thinking - gee I wish it was a Sarah McLachlan Solo - I could do without ever listening to Josh Groban for the rest of my life - sorry JG - fellow Canadian and all.

After I listened to Fleetwood Mac it was similar - give me Stevie Nicks and forget the rest.

What happened? When I was 16 it was Motley Crue and AC/DC - LOL.
