I too have compared the Audio Note DAC 1.1 with the SFD2. The SFD2 was close, but the AN DAC 1.1 has (by far) the best treble and tonality from CD (or even DAD) that I have heard.BTW, Micheal Kerster at Audio Note North America was the designer of the Sonic Frontiers DACs. So, a close family resemblence is understandable!
