Most sound cards use 1/8" output jacks. Cicuit City sells a 6' long 1/8" stereo to 2 male RCA connector that is usually perfect.
Of course, if your soundcard has digital output (it would have to be both new and expensive for this to be the case) and your receiver has the same type of digital input (toslink or coax) you could use the appropriate digital cable (toslink or coax, also available at Circuit City) to connect the sound card to the receiver. The digital connection would sound much much better than the other connection.
