Ever heard or heard of the recording Dafos? Meyers (unknown model) was used extensively in that recording for adding live ambience to the recording venue.

This recording is probably one of the best examples of not only analog done right (Keith Johnson engineered it), but very REAL sounding drums in an acoustic space...

Check it out- there are Meyers in state of the art audio...
