I looked through every audio category, including vintage. I have never seen so much junk in one place. Before my self imposed moratorium, I always saw a lot I wanted to bid on.
The other thing I noticed is that the conditions are all grossly inflated. Everything is mint, minty (what the hell does that mean?) or excellent. Then you look closely at the photos and the component is a mess. And the prices! Are they crazy? Then I notice suckers placing stupid high bids.
I hope ebay goes away and dies.
Audiogon is of course better, but not like it was a few years back. The pawn shops and scammers are there in full force too.
The asylum classifieds are still a safe bet, imo.
