Warning about sound formats on Blu ray

The high quality lossless sound formats like LPCM, DTS-HD and Dolby TrueHD are mandatory for Blu ray players. They must be able to play them.

But studios are free to select not to use the lossless formats!

So until I have a actual player and the disc in my hands, I cannot know if the LPCM track is on the "The Last Waltz".

A lazy studio could just use the old mastertape with data reduced Dolby Digtal sound, just like they did on the normal DVD.
