Note that the original post is based on the possibly false premise that "Play your poor recordings (good music)."I have, as I suspect do most, "Audiophile" recordings that don't sound so hot and etc. Why, only today while I was visiting with my record dealer he asked if I was interested in anything in the considerable MFSL library that he has available.
My response was that if I don't care about the music, I don't care how good the recording is. I'm not going to buy an album just because it sounds really great if I don't like the music!
I think some people, if possible, should spend a bit more time listening to live music. Hey, maybe we could have a live music forum, just to liven things up a bit.
