Along the same line, I too had a stock Sanui TU-717, and then moved up to a fully Antenna Performance Specialties (APS) modded TU-717.
The 717 in stock form was quite good but the APS mod took it to a whole new level.
I then traded the modded TU-717 in for a fully APS modded TU-919, and "oh my god" what an AMAZING piece.
In many ways, it's the best sounding source (and I mean any source) I've ever heard.
