That's interesting -- I heard an Audio Note Level 5 system which is quite easily the best reproduced sound I have ever heard(and it is still well down from their top). Sure 1/4 of a million it should be but at the same time -- it delivered top spot the way a sports car from Ferrari is 10 times+ the price of a Honda Civic delivers top spot.I fnd the entire thread a strange one though because each individual must determine value versus price.
I find the B&W 705 to be one of the most overpriced speakers that I have ever had the misfortune to listen to - and while it is only $2300.00 that's about $1900.00 overpriced IMO.
