Quint,I have only listened to copies that I made using the Raw Copy function. I think they sound much better than the ACARD DVD duplicator, especially violins. The bass is a little mushy but I am on my way to tweaking that away. The Raw Copy function seems to be at 8X, i.e. a 32 minute CD takes 4 minutes of copy time (not including the countdown the machine does).
However, I like Mitsui Gold Archive better than ProDisc Black. I don't use fluids at this time.
Have you tried the Raw Copy mode?
