I have used MGD brass cones, BDR #3 & #4 cones and shelves, ebony pyramids, Seismic Sinks, Polycrystal cones, and the Signal Guard Platform -- WHEW! (No, I am not bidding on the Brooklyn Bridge on Ebay). While I use them, I never find "profound" changes in the sound, but the right choice for the right component makes a difference I don't want to be without.I like the Pulsar Points under my Theta Casablanca where they make the highs somewhat more pure and tighten up the bass. I also ended up choosing the titanium for the quieter background they created and the way they intensified the effect of the aluminum cones. By the same token, I still prefer my BDR shelf and #4 cones for both chassis of the Rowland Model 10 instead of the Pulsar Points.
