Jeff Rowland Concentra II phono stage any good?

I have just purchased a Jeff Rowland Concentra II and am awaiting its arrival. It doesn't have the phono stage in it, but Rowland says it is easy to install in the field. Has anyone on the asylum had experience with this phono stage and if so is it any good? It is available for $600 from Rowland and I would have to put it in.
