with Turkish inflation being what it is, he runs the risk of actually collecting less than 75% of the current $ equivalent by the time you complete a transaction (if he is quoting in Lira). Plus he has to pay transport, import duties, bank fees (he collects lira but pays PS audio or the distributor in $), VAT, etc etc etc.However,if he is quoting the price in $ it does seem on the high side (a fair comparison might be with prices for the powerplant in a Euro-zone country - if they are significantly cheaper, you could always buy one there if you take a vacation in Europe).
Can you contact the distributor and see if he has a recommended price?
