I've recorded and played cassettes on many machines with Dolby B and C with metal tape and with chrome tape,on Teacs and Sonys and Nakamichis. They sound varies from fair to terrible. I havn't owned a cassette deck in my home in 20 years. It was and is a very poor format. Tape speed is too slow and track width is too narrow.
