I should have time to try Qobuz streaming via Qobuz Connect vs Qobuz via Roon later this week. I'm guessing that any sonic differences will be minor but I'll give it a try.
I subscribed to Roon for two years when they first launched thinking they might go belly up in short order. Roon looked very promising so I purchased a lifetime subscription and I've been a Roon user for several years now.
