I was thinking of running the phono stage out to my PC and archiving the vinyl at a high a resolution as I could. The idea if taking it off at 24/96 would be good, but then how much drive space would be needed for the amount of vinyl that I have... and then I would have to mirror it just to be on the safe side. In 10 or 15 years time I might even be rummaging through piles of old hard drives and reminiscing about them.
Maybe thats a vision of the future I should not look forward to... but I quite like the idea.Enjoy,
