..you need an aftermarket powersupply (preferably modded). When the SB itself is modded, the jitter improves considerably. Probably close to $1K CD player jitter specs. One another advantage is that the CD players (however highend) are affected by (or varies by) quality of the CD surface and henceCD tweaks (sprays, mats, markers). This is not the case with the SB3 which saves a lots of headache.
