I had a chance to compare my Behringer DEQ2496, which is modified with the direct out mod, to a Benchmark Dac1 and prefered the DEQ for it's greater resolution. Figure in the fact that you are getting a sweet handling digital eq and the DEQ is a must have for anyone running digital. Check out the previous thread.
