Re: value of a kinerjetics KCD40 player

The Kinergetics was a very nice sounding CD player for its day. I owned a KCD 20 for a number of years and it was a fairly smooth sounding player for its time, plus it had a very good volume control and was able to drive my amp pretty well without a preamp. It was a nicely built machine as well. I can't say how it compares to today's machines since it has been at least ten years since I've owned the machine.

Kinergetics has been out of business for a long time, and you won't find replacement parts. Given the age of the machine and the inability to get it fixed, I probably wouldn't pay over $200.00 for it.
