It's a GCC-250 gain-cell amp from PS Audio, which has a volume control. :)That being said, do you really want to use the Lavry as your volume control? Those digital push buttons would drive me crazy (I just leave mine at 42...which reminds me that I hate seeing that number all the time). It's a great DAC, though, especially if you are concerned about jitter (as I am, since I'm using a computer as my source).
