Take one of those & by-pass the entire output stage then you got something, use clip jumpers for a test//. A few on here are running the by-pass with great success & it save a bunch of money..the unit takes on a totlally new & better charactor about itself. You are probably still got lytics in the out put.. & definatelly got the op-amps ..... Is the op-amp the same in both units...? It will make a big sonic differance if they are not.....ditch that output stage & be ever happy..
