CD/DVD player recommendation - NAD T514 or Denon 1920?

38.98.69.18

Hi, I'm looking for a combo CD/DVD player - I have an NAD C320 BEE driving a pair of Wharfedale Diamond 8.2s. A decent budget system. This is also my AV system in my apartment. I need a CD player, but while I'm at it I want to upgrade my DVD player (cheap Apex). I'm looking to spend $300 for the unit.

My initial research has led me to the NAD T514, because I like my NAD amp. And the Denon 1920, because Denon has a good rep for DVD players. Am I looking in the right direction? Does the NAD have a leg up with CD audio sound? Also I believe the Denon has SACD compatibility, which is nice but not a big deal for me, as I listen to vinyl and CDs and don't own many SACDs.

I may eventually buy a stand-alone CD player, but in the meantime I want something that still sounds good - and plays DVDs well.
