Upsamplers, DACs, jitter, shakes and analogue withdrawals, this is it.

RME ADI-2: Another "super-DAC" ?

Hello
There is nothing much on the internet about this little pro-audio DAC (revews, tests), but that few articles I found are very enthusiastic, to say the least. There are some comparisons with ultra-expensive DACs; SoundOnSound review say "...class-leading technical performance which belies its modest pricing...", and in the recent Stereoplay test it was placed one point over the venerable Benchmark DAC1 !
This unit uses the latest high-resolution AKM chips: 4395 D-A converters, has almost unmeasurable jitter due to their "SteadyClock" innovative technology, and all other figures are more than impressive.
But, figures and "miracle chips" aside, I'd like to hear some first-hand experiences -preferably by owners- how does it really SOUND ?
