Tact 2.2 - AD-)DA how transparent is it?

Does anyone have any experience listening to see how transparent the Tact 2.2 is in your audio chain? I mean, if you were to set the Tact to do nothing but pass an analog signal through it's optional AD unit and out the other optional DA unit, what is the difference with and with out the Tact?
