Sorry I haven't heard it. The web reviews are positive, but I saw one comment that said the tube is soldered to the circuit board. It would be difficult to find a replacement tube. The 6N16 is apparently a Russian variety, and only the Vincent (Chinese) equipment seems to use it for audio.If you want some "tube smoothness," get a filament transformer and load it with a metal oxide resistor. Plug it in to the same AC circuit that feeds your CD player.
This is not a joke. I'm experimenting with something similar right now. I suspect the AC filtering action of the filament transformer with a resistive load is a large part of the improved smoothness noted from CD players with tube output stages.
