I recently went to a local audio dealer to addition the Musical Fidelity A5 cdp. It's a nice player. The dealer recommended I also audition the Arcam CD73, which is some $1,800 less. There were some minor differences...the Arcam was slightly, and I mean slightly, less detailed and dynamic. I bought the CD73. It's a great, inexpensive player, and ultimately upgradeable to the CD192 should you get the urge.
